ripperx software package provides a GTK-based audio CD ripper/encoder, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ripperx
ripperx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ripperx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ripperx *
You will get with ripperx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
