$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ripit 

ripit is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ripit package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ripit *

You will get with ripit package name, version, architecture and description in a table

ripit package basic information:
