$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install rescue-mode 

rescue-mode is installed in your system.

Make ensure the rescue-mode package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rescue-mode *

You will get with rescue-mode package name, version, architecture and description in a table

rescue-mode package basic information:
