remote-tty software package provides multiuser tip/cu replacement with logging, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install remote-tty
remote-tty is installed in your system.
Make ensure the remote-tty package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep remote-tty *
You will get with remote-tty package name, version, architecture and description in a table
