regina-normal software package provides software for 3-manifold topology and normal surfaces, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install regina-normal
regina-normal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the regina-normal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep regina-normal *
You will get with regina-normal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
