How to Install redsocks software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

redsocks software package provides arbitrary TCP connection redirector to a SOCKS or HTTPS proxy server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install redsocks 

redsocks is installed in your system.

Make ensure the redsocks package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep redsocks *

You will get with redsocks package name, version, architecture and description in a table
