redshift-gtk software package provides Adjusts the color temperature of your screen with GTK+ integration, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install redshift-gtk
redshift-gtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the redshift-gtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep redshift-gtk *
You will get with redshift-gtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
