redboot-tools software package provides Collection of utilities to manipulate RedBoot data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install redboot-tools
redboot-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the redboot-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep redboot-tools *
You will get with redboot-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
