rc software package provides implementation of the AT&T Plan 9 shell, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rc
rc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rc *
You will get with rc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
