How to Install radiance software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

radiance software package provides Lighting Simulation and Rendering System, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install radiance

radiance is installed in your system.

Make ensure the radiance package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep radiance *

You will get with radiance package name, version, architecture and description in a table
