qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca software package provides QML plugin for the Ubuntu Media Scanner, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca
qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca*
You will get with qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-mediasca package name, version, architecture and description in a table
