qt5-image-formats-plugins software package provides Qt 5 Image Formats module, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qt5-image-formats-plugins
qt5-image-formats-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qt5-image-formats-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qt5-image-formats-plugins *
You will get with qt5-image-formats-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
