qstat software package provides Command-line tool for querying quake (and other) servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qstat
qstat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qstat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qstat *
You will get with qstat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
