qshutdown software package provides Qt program to shutdown/reboot/suspend/hibernate the system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qshutdown
qshutdown is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qshutdown package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qshutdown *
You will get with qshutdown package name, version, architecture and description in a table
