qpid-client software package provides enterprise messaging system - AMQP client, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qpid-client
qpid-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qpid-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qpid-client *
You will get with qpid-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
