qmidiroute software package provides a MIDI event router and filter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qmidiroute
qmidiroute is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qmidiroute package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qmidiroute *
You will get with qmidiroute package name, version, architecture and description in a table
