python3-xkit software package provides library for the manipulation of xorg.conf files (Python 3), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-xkit
python3-xkit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-xkit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-xkit *
You will get with python3-xkit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
