python3-update-manager software package provides python 3.x module for update-manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-update-manager
python3-update-manager is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-update-manager package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-update-manager *
You will get with python3-update-manager package name, version, architecture and description in a table
