python3-tk software package provides Tkinter - Writing Tk applications with Python 3.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-tk
python3-tk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-tk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-tk *
You will get with python3-tk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
