python3-taglib software package provides Python3 bindings for the TagLib audio metadata library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-taglib
python3-taglib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-taglib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-taglib *
You will get with python3-taglib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
