python3-magic software package provides File type determination library using magic numbers (Python 3 bindings), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-magic
python3-magic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-magic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-magic *
You will get with python3-magic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
