python3-icu software package provides Python 3 extension wrapping the ICU C++ API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-icu
python3-icu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-icu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-icu *
You will get with python3-icu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
