python3-grib software package provides Python 3 module for reading and writing GRIB files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-grib
python3-grib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-grib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-grib *
You will get with python3-grib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
