python3-dvdvideo software package provides Video DVD reader library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-dvdvideo
python3-dvdvideo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-dvdvideo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-dvdvideo *
You will get with python3-dvdvideo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
