python-xtermcolor software package provides Python module to print coloured text on terminals, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-xtermcolor
python-xtermcolor is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-xtermcolor package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-xtermcolor *
You will get with python-xtermcolor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
