python-xcbgen software package provides X C Binding - protocol binding generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-xcbgen
python-xcbgen is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-xcbgen package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-xcbgen *
You will get with python-xcbgen package name, version, architecture and description in a table
