python-twisted software package provides Event-based framework for internet applications (dependency package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-twisted
python-twisted is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-twisted package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-twisted *
You will get with python-twisted package name, version, architecture and description in a table
