python-tornadio2 software package provides Socket.io 0.7+ server implementation on top of Tornado frame, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-tornadio2
python-tornadio2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-tornadio2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-tornadio2 *
You will get with python-tornadio2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
