How to Install python-statsd software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-statsd software package provides Python client for the statsd daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-statsd

python-statsd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-statsd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-statsd *

You will get with python-statsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
