How to Install python-socketio software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-socketio software package provides Socket.IO server based on the gevent pywsgi server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-socketio

python-socketio is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-socketio package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-socketio *

You will get with python-socketio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
