python-sklearn software package provides Python modules for machine learning and data mining, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-sklearn
python-sklearn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-sklearn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-sklearn *
You will get with python-sklearn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
