python-rsa software package provides Pure-Python RSA implementation (Python 2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-rsa
python-rsa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-rsa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-rsa *
You will get with python-rsa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
