python-rpy software package provides Python interface to the GNU R language and environment, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-rpy
python-rpy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-rpy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-rpy *
You will get with python-rpy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
