python-pyside.qtsvg software package provides Qt 4 SVG module - Python bindings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pyside.qtsvg
python-pyside.qtsvg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pyside.qtsvg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pyside.qtsvg *
You will get with python-pyside.qtsvg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
