How to Install python-pyscard software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-pyscard software package provides Python wrapper above PC/SC API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-pyscard

python-pyscard is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-pyscard package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pyscard *
