How to Install python-pyodbc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-pyodbc software package provides Python module for ODBC database access, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-pyodbc

python-pyodbc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-pyodbc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pyodbc *

You will get with python-pyodbc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
