python-pymongo-ext software package provides C-coded extension to the python-pymongo package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pymongo-ext
python-pymongo-ext is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pymongo-ext package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pymongo-ext *
You will get with python-pymongo-ext package name, version, architecture and description in a table
