python-pymad software package provides Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio Decoder library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pymad
python-pymad is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pymad package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pymad *
You will get with python-pymad package name, version, architecture and description in a table
