python-pygments software package provides syntax highlighting package written in Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pygments
python-pygments is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pygments package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pygments *
You will get with python-pygments package name, version, architecture and description in a table
