python-pybabel software package provides tools for internationalizing Python applications (transitional dummy package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pybabel
python-pybabel is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pybabel package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pybabel *
You will get with python-pybabel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
