How to Install python-prctl software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-prctl software package provides Python interface to the prctl() syscall, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-prctl

python-prctl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-prctl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-prctl *

You will get with python-prctl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
