python-obexftp software package provides Python binding to the object exchange file transfer library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-obexftp
python-obexftp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-obexftp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-obexftp *
You will get with python-obexftp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
