python-nitime software package provides timeseries analysis for neuroscience data (nitime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-nitime
python-nitime is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-nitime package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-nitime *
You will get with python-nitime package name, version, architecture and description in a table
