How to Install python-nifti software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-nifti software package provides Python interface to the NIfTI I/O libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-nifti

python-nifti is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-nifti package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-nifti *

You will get with python-nifti package name, version, architecture and description in a table
