python-netaddr software package provides manipulation of various common network address notations (Python 2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-netaddr
python-netaddr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-netaddr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-netaddr *
You will get with python-netaddr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
