python-neo software package provides Python IO library for electrophysiological data formats, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-neo
python-neo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-neo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-neo *
You will get with python-neo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
