python-lzo software package provides Python bindings for the LZO data compression library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-lzo
python-lzo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-lzo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-lzo *
You will get with python-lzo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
