python-libuser software package provides user and group account administration library (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-libuser
python-libuser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-libuser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-libuser *
You will get with python-libuser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
