How to Install python-ldap software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-ldap software package provides LDAP interface module for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-ldap

python-ldap is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-ldap package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-ldap *

You will get with python-ldap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
