How to Install python-jenkins software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-jenkins software package provides Python bindings for the Jenkins Remote API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-jenkins

python-jenkins is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-jenkins package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-jenkins *

You will get with python-jenkins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
